I use it more as a coffee table book than one to read cover
to cover. There is more here than I can absorb in the couple of
days that I would normally spend reading a book.

It has many pictures - black and white photos and maps,
almost one at every page one opens to.

Churchill understood the scope and sweep of human history,
as it manifested itself in this "Unnecessary War", like no
other, and from a vantage point of none other.
