SHIPPING/POSTAGE INFORMATION (This information pertains to books ordered directly from this website, not through Amazon. Amazon charges its customers pre-set fees, over which we have no control):

WE KNOW THAT RAPID SHIPPING IS IMPORTANT FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. OUR POLICY IS TO SHIP BOOKS WITHIN 24 HOURS OF PAYMENT CONFIRMATION AND TO ADD A FREE TRACKING SERVICE.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING: We offer two forms of shipping books within the U.S.

MEDIA MAIL is the standard book rate shipping. Media Mail usually takes between 5 to 19 business days to arrive, but is not guaranteed. Cost for the first book is $3.50. Additional books will be $1.00 per book.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING is First Class Mail, sometimes called Priority Mail. Expedited shipping usually takes between 2 to 5 business days to arrive, but is not guaranteed. Cost per book is $5.00. Some very large, heavy books, or volume-sets may require shipping via FEDEX Ground. Shipping via FEDEX Ground usually takes between 2 to 7 business days to arrive and will have a tracking number. We will notify you of FEDEX shipping costs prior to your purchase.  Small paperback books will be automatically upgraded to first class shipping.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING is via Airmail or Global Priority Flat Rate Mail. International shipping usually takes 5 to 12 business days to arrive, but is not guaranteed. Cost per book is $9.00. Cost to Canada and Mexico is $7.00. Some very large, heavy books, or volume-sets cannot be sent internationally.

REFUND POLICY: We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. However, should the product be defective or incorrect, please return it at your expense for a refund within 10 business days of delivery and notify us immediately by e-mail at gretchenbooks@yahoo.com. If we are able to replace your item we will send it to you immediately. If we do not have a duplicate we will issue a total refund upon receiving the book.

Note: All returns should be made to us, delivered within 10 business days of your e-mail to us. If returns are not promptly sent back, we will consider the sale finalized.
